Rugwash.ie has been cleaning, repairing and restoring rugs from our premises in Douglas, Cork since 1994. What started as a specialist service for the Cork area has grown — through word of mouth and the trust of our customers — into a nationwide operation, with regular collection routes to Dublin and beyond.

Our founder Brendan built the business on a simple principle: do the job properly, be honest with people, and treat every rug as if it were your own. That principle hasn't changed in three decades.

We work with every kind of rug — from the family's everyday wool rug to irreplaceable antique Persian pieces. Some customers are nervous the first time they hand over something precious. We understand that. We explain exactly what we'll do and why, we confirm the price before we start, and we don't proceed without your agreement.

We are not a rug cleaning franchise or a carpet cleaning company with a rug add-on. This is all we do, and we do it from our own specialist premises — not outsourced, not franchised, not subcontracted.
